The Umbrella Academy

Based on a graphic novel by Gerard Way (My Chemical Romances lead singer) The Umbrella Academy is a fun, comedy, drama with a recently released season 2. The show starts with women around the world giving birth, the problem is they weren't pregnant the day before. Seven of these magical children are bought by Generald Hargreeves. Six posse magical abilities, these six form The Umbrella Academy fighting crime and protecting their city. As the children grow they drift apart and form their own lives away from the academy, but when their father dies they all go back to their childhood home and each others lives. The story is fun and original and look fabulous. The actors portray their characters brilliantly and really bring life to the story. I'd personally highly recommend the first season to teenagers and adults alike.
