You is a Netflix original series that follows a stalker. It was instantly a massive hit and captured the worlds attention. Despite this I really didn't like it. I felt the intensity was to high so when it went down I became bored. The main character is actually well played and enjoyable to watch but his love interest feels very basic. I felt uncomfortable watching it, despite that probably being the goal, and felt as though it relied on the viewer being shocked which became repetitive over a while. It felt like a chore to finish it and the insanity level only gets higher during the series. Despite disliking this show it was entertaining to watch and funny to make fun off. I'd recommend watching with friends so you can enjoy the insanity of this show and laugh at it together.
